Origin, together with Interim and Legacy, is not simply science fiction. To be credible, worthy of belief, and not to insult the intelligence of the reader, The Heritage Files had to be based on truth, solid scientific facts, and known historical events. The author has simply interpreted some of these facts and events in a slightly different manner to widely held views. Having said that though, a tremendous amount of research was necessary to achieve the end result and to ensure continuity.
