Interim - The Cover

Carrying on the theme for The Heritage Files, Interim's cover is once again courtesy of the Hubble space telescope, this almost fantasy-like image is the Eagle nebula.

Situated some 7000 light years distant in the constellation of Serpens, the towering pillar of gas and dust is 9.5 light-years... or about 91 trillion kilometres high.

The colour's are produced by the clusters powerful ultraviolet light energizing the gas, the red is glowing hydrogen, the blue is glowing oxygen.

Interim - The Book

This is currently being researched. The outline of the story (the easy part) is about a third done but I don't want to get too much done yet until I begin to get your feedback and idea's.

Unfortunately, I can't even give you any clues on the storyline... not without revealing events in Origin!

Suffice it to say that Interim carries on where Origin left off, but a little further into the future.

Once you've read Origin you'll have a rough understanding of the plot, and from that, where Interim has to go to take that forwards.Be prepared for some surprises though, Interim isn't the calm before the storm... it's a novel, a story in its own right and as such it has to move The Heritage Files forwards.

Interim answers some of the questions asked in Origin, but not all... and just to give you one final hint, the last few pages expose a far greater threat than has been seen to date!
